Thank you to Deborah and Sarah for creating a positive learning environment and fostering connection with all the other workshop participants. The lectures were knowledge-filled and the movement planned really helped integrate the facts shared in a useful way. I am excited to return to my classes with clear vision of ways to improve the learning environment and add more detailed anatomical verbiage to improve the quality of my student’s movement.

Deb and Sarah delivered the various workshops with clarity and intent, drawing on useful examples that were relevant to the many contexts represented by the teachers. They were both kind, enthusiastic and inspiring and were able to draw on the expertise in the room. It was worth travelling from Australia to participate!

Anatomy of Technique: Best Practices for Training Dancers empowers one to reconsider and implement changes and tweaks in one’s approach to teaching with the student’s best interest in mind. The 3-day workshop is masterfully planned and executed offering a comprehensive introduction to the study of the mechanics of dance anatomy with immediate hands on applications and the mental tools and knowledge passed on. By the time the last day is ended I personally felt an inner connection with the community of teachers and dancers present largely because of the manner in which the workshop was orchestrated with team interaction and sharing of ideas. My gratitude scale is extremely high for the leaders, Deborah Vogel and Sarah Newton. I highly recommend this workshop
